Who Should Apply
The Novel Immersive for LGBTQ+ Writers is intended for queer novel writers who are immersed in a novel project and have either made it at least halfway through a draft or are interested in taking their completed rough draft through the next steps with queer-focused guidance, support, and community.
Students will be expected to attend the class sessions online via Zoom, provide encouragement and feedback to other students, and make time for reading and writing outside of class. This course is geared for students at all levels who wish to complete a draft of their novel in a structured, supportive environment. The program will set students up to continue in higher-level GrubStreet programs, such as the Novel Incubator.
Applications for the 2024-2025 Novel Immersive for LGBTQ+ Writers are now open. The application deadline is March 26, 2024. All applicants can expect to hear from us by April 2024.
