Use Our Space
We are very excited to share our Center for Creative Writing in the Seaport with the greater Boston community. We currently have a stage and event space, classrooms, community space, and a podcast studio all available for rent at an hourly rate.
Please read below to get more specific information about the different layouts our space provides and whether we are the right fit for your upcoming event, meeting, reception, or recording. Any general questions can be directed to [email protected].
Classrooms and Upstairs Community Space
GrubStreet’s classrooms and community space are available for rent depending on availability for seminars, meetings, and conference mingling. They are equipped with smart TV technology and owl cameras for hybrid meetings. Any classroom rental comes with access to our community space and social spine for breaks, meals, and beautiful views during the rental.
Calderwood Writers' Stage and Event Space
The Calderwood Writers’ Stage at GrubStreet’s Center for Creative Writing is now available for rental to host readings, talks, conferences, and performances. While GrubStreet will support all steps of the event planning process, each event will require a lead host to learn about our event space and assist with the set-up and clean-up process.
Our Podcast Studio
GrubStreet is thrilled to launch the podcast studio at our Center for Creative Writing! We hope our community members can expand their storytelling craft and see what they can produce with this new medium. As part of our launch, we will be providing space orientations and offering 1-2 hour-long solo recording sessions.
