Travelmug Café at GrubStreet:
GrubStreet is thrilled to partner with Travelmug Café as pop-up cafe operators. Hailing from East Boston, Travelmug is a whimsical mobile coffee shop tricycle offering a variety of treats; donuts, cookies, and bagels to pair with specialty local coffee and tea.
"We're thrilled to announce our pop-up at GrubStreet's Fabulist Café. Their daily work towards creative writing is truly inspiring, and our alignment on values as we share a passion for nurturing community and the arts is motivating. Being part of this magical space, where creativity thrives, is an honor," said Lizeth Kelley, Founder & Manager of Travelmug Café.

About GrubStreet's Café:
GrubStreet's café offers more delicious coffee and snacks — it's a hub for creatives and book lovers alike. Located in the heart of Boston's Seaport neighborhood on the first floor of GrubStreet’s Center for Creative Writing, Fabulist serves coffee and espresso, tea, simple breakfast and lunch items, snacks, and in the evening, beer and wine.
Hosting a beautiful scenic view of the harbor and nestled beside Porter Square Books: Boston Edition, our café provides an inspiring space to fuel your most creative work, relax into a great read with a signature espresso drink, or gather with friends over beer and wine after work (or your workshop).
GrubStreet's Café is owned and operated by GrubStreet in partnership with Travelmug, and we can't wait to host the whole community, including at GrubStreet events on our Writers' Stage.
In the News
"GrubStreet, one of the most prominent creative writing centers in the country, has opened a new cafe in Boston’s Seaport District. Fabulist, located on the first floor of the GrubStreet Center for Creative Writing since February, is both a coffee joint where you could lose your day in a book and a space for mingling with a glass of wine after a late-night author reading. It’s also a creative hub for writers to work and collaborate." — GBH News, Arts & Culture
