Food and Alcohol Policy

Alcohol and Food in the Space

Alcohol

All beer and wine consumed or served within the GrubStreet Center for Creative Writing must be purchased through GrubStreet as a requirement of our liquor license.

Food

Due to our health department licensing, no external food or drink can be brought into the café area on the first floor. External food (catering, store bought or homemade) is allowed in the event space and on the second floor.

For any event where you would like beer, wine or champagne to be served, please reach out to [email protected] at least 14 business days prior to your event to help ensure stock as well as staffing coverage. Advance notice of 3 weeks is required for orders for more than 20 people.

Our full alcohol and food policy can be viewed here.
