Building Accessibility
Ensuring that our classes are accessible to all students is a top priority. We provide ramp access to our building upon request. Grubstreet's elevator, classrooms, and restroom are wheelchair accessible. To arrange for ramp access, request any special accommodations, or to voice an ADA-related concern, please contact GrubStreet's Finance & Operations Coordinator, Matt Litchfield, at [email protected], or call 617-695-0075 between the hours of 10am and 6pm, Monday-Friday.
Parking
Weekday Mornings & Afternoons
We recommend parking in the 200 Stuart Street garage (attached to the Revere Hotel), which offers discounted rates to Grub members. To take advantage, simply park there and then stop by the office during business hours (anytime between 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday) for a validation sticker to place on your parking ticket.
- If you park at 200 Stuart Street before 2:30pm, the cost is $16 for 12 hours
- If you park there after 2:30pm, the cost is $10 for 12 hours
Evenings & Weekends
We recommend parking in the Boston Common Parking Garage, just a 3-minute walk from our headquarters. GrubStreet members may purchase special $9.00 parking passes below (50% off the regular rate). These passes are valid only after 4:00pm on weeknights and all day on weekends. Please order parking passes 48 hours in advance to allow for processing time. Only current GrubStreet members can buy these passes. To become a member, sign up here. Otherwise, we will have to refund your money.
After purchasing your passes, they will be stored for you in the instructor lounge, which is the room to your left when you exit the elevator. Passes are sorted alphabetically in the organizer next to the copier. Passes from GrubStreet are required only when exiting the garage, not before pulling into the garage. There are stations at each entrance where you'll be required to insert your original ticket (when you first entered the garage), followed by the pass GrubStreet provided.
Feel free to park in the garage on your first night of class, pick up the tickets when you arrive at Grub, and begin using the tickets as you leave the garage that night. The walk between the garage and GrubStreet is through a well-lit park; in 6 years at our current space we have had zero problems with student safety. However, if you do feel concerned about walking to the garage at night, please buddy up with a fellow student and walk together.
