About Rhonda
Rhonda DeChambeau (she/her) is a writer and poet who grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, where she benefited from many generous teachers who encouraged her love of words and passion for writing. Later, she earned her master’s in fine arts from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. A lover of libraries, Rhonda was honored to serve as the 2022-2023 Associates of the Boston Public Library Writer-in-Residence, during which time she wrote and sold her debut novel, Top Heavy, a young adult novel in verse (published by Holiday House, June 2025). Rhonda’s second novel, Stained, is also a novel in verse, this time for middle grade readers, and will be published by Holiday House in the fall of 2026. She makes her home south of Boston with her husband and two young adult children, who are still her biggest fans.Interests
