Help people write and share the stories that will change the world.

Your generosity allows us to deliver the promise of our new center for creative writing, reduce barriers to participation, and offer inspiring programs for teens and adults from every neighborhood in Boston and beyond.

Thank you for your support in making sure that GrubStreet’s programs are truly accessible to a richly diverse group of writers and readers.

Donate today – and help write a better future

Your generosity to GrubStreet:

  • Increases financial aid for teens and adults over the next year, with a goal of providing 500 scholarships for writers of all ages in 2024. Your support keeps classes and programs as accessible as possible so that more writers can participate, as tuition covers only 75% of the cost of GrubStreet’s paid classes
  • Ensures that 80% of our classes for teens are provided at no cost to participants and their families
  • Expands new programs that take on critical issues like our "Writing for Change" series from the stage, and our new annual workshop and publication series on timely issues, from “Our Bodies, Our Stories” to the upcoming “Our Planet, Our Stories”
  • Continue intensive fellowships for writing and teaching, including our Emerging Writer Fellowships and our Teaching Fellowships for Black Writers

Read our FaIl 2023 and Spring 2023 Impact Update to learn more about our achievements and future goals.
