What I'm Looking For
Currently I'm on high alert for manuscripts written by underrepresented voices. I'm specifically interested in anything set on an HBCU campus, a devourable romcom or straightforward romance with elevated writing, (grounded) speculative stories, and books set in places often seen through a tourist lens, but written from natives and with an emphasis on cultural identity (e.g., Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, etc.).
Sample Titles or Authors
I represent Arushi Avachat, YA author of ARYA KHANNA'S BOLLYWOOD MOMENT and RANI DESHPANDE TAKES THE WEEL.
I also represent Paige Classey, middle grade author of ANNA-JANE AND THE ENDLESS SUMMER.
I've also assisted on books by Jennifer Niven, Morgan Richter, Camille Perri, Caitlin Mullen, and more.
