Looking to make considerable progress on your writing project? Need community and accountability to push you forward? Join us for our second annual Novel November Writing Hours!
Throughout November, instructors and guest authors will facilitate one-hour group writing sessions in the mornings, during lunch, and in the evenings. There will be prompts at the ready, and each writing hour will conclude with the chance to share your work aloud and check in with your word count progress.
Registration offers unlimited access to all 54 available hours. Registrants will also get exclusive access to four exciting author interviews meant to inspire and assist you in your creative journey, hosted by Yu-Mei Balasingamchow, acclaimed author of Names Have Been Changed.
Writing hours will take place each weekday from November 2rd - November 25th, during the following timeslots (all ET):
- AM: 7:00am-8:00am
- Afternoon: 12:00pm-1:00pm
- Evening: 6:00pm-7:00pm
Lock in this November for a supported writing sprint at GrubStreet! You'll close the month with fresh inspiration, a stack of new pages, and momentum to carry you forward. While the content and author interviews will be novel-focused, writers working on any genre are welcome to join.
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. After registering, a yellow Resources tab will appear in this section containing a link to join class. Please note that you will need to be logged into view the Resources tab.
Zoom Participation:
In our experience, the intimate nature of a writing workshop benefits from on-camera participation. Students are of course welcome to turn their camera off whenever they need to, but it is a community norm for cameras to be on most of the time. You can learn more about using Zoom here.
Zoom Accessibility:
You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
