Event Description

Come learn more about GrubStreet's Spring 2024 programming, visit our new Center for Creative Writing, and hear outstanding readings from our community at our upcoming Spring 2024 Open House and Showcase.

Join us in the Seaport on Tuesday, December 5th from 5:30pm-7:00pm. GrubStreet staffers will talk with you over drinks and snacks about exciting classes and events for adults and teens, including our 2024 Muse and the Marketplace Conference, how to become a GrubStreet member, and help answer your personal writing questions. Porter Square Books will join us selling copies of our Grubby Debuts! At 6:30pm, we'll gather for a showcase of writing from our talented, vibrant community of students and instructors, featuring Indhu Raghavan, Jordin Palmer, and Lillian Elizabeth, and our featured GrubStreet instructor, Camille Cabrera:

Camille Cabrera (she/her) is a best-selling American mystery author. Her novel, The Mystery of Mistletoe Motel, previously reached the #1 spot on Amazon's Mystery Romance chart. She specializes in crafting spellbinding cozy mystery novels. Camille believes in the importance of lifelong learning. Perpetually curious, Camille tends to delve into various subjects ranging from finance to literature. Camille has a B.A. in Communication Studies. She recently received a master's degree in management. When Camille isn't writing, you can often find her in the nearest coffee shop with her nose in a book and a black coffee in hand.

Come meet the staff, connect with other local writers, and join the fun! All attendees will receive a code for 15% off any Spring 2024 classes.
