Event Description
In this lively, informative, and free-wheeling conversation, New York Times Bestselling author Steve Almond ("Truth Is the Arrow, Mercy Is the Bow") will talk about all the aspects of craft at which he has routinely failed, including plot, characterization, chronology, and narration. The event will be driven by questions from the audience, and anything is fair game. You can expect to come across some useful perspectives, and perhaps a glimpse into how to develop a more practical and honest approach to your own craft. Join us for an evening of straight talk about what it takes to tell stories that people want to read.
NOTE: your ticket purchase includes a copy of Steve Almond's Truth Is the Arrow, Mercy Is the Bow, which will be provided to you at the event.

This class will take place in-person at our Center for Creative Writing in Boston's Seaport neighborhood.
