Starting December 24, 2023, Fabulist Cafe at GrubStreet’s Center for Creative Writing will be temporarily closed throughout the winter months — but fear not, we’re aiming to reopen in the spring. We’re taking a pause during the slower winter months as an opportunity to reinvent some new offerings for our cafe and look forward to sharing updates soon.

In the meantime, we encourage our community to continue using the cafe seating for writing, reading, or just to enjoy the scenic view whenever Porter Square Books: Boston Edition is open.
