Class Description
In this Level II class, students who have taken Writing to Heal will have the opportunity to continue their work. Whether you are moving forward with a long form project, writing new essays, or revising previous work, this course will allow you to take an even deeper dive into the Writing to Heal process. Students will each submit three to four workshop pieces and process journals; in addition to workshop, class time will also include generative prompts. We'll look at various genres, from poetry, to essay, to memoir, and even fiction, exploring advanced writing techniques. This course is only open to students who have taken Writing to Heal I.
