Class Description
This intensive workshop equips you with the tools to finish your manuscript and overcome obstacles. You'll gain clarity and momentum through instructor and participant feedback, advanced craft lectures, and publishing insights in a supportive yet challenging environment.
What You’ll Gain: weekly craft lessons, individual written feedback, extensive handouts., supportive group discussions.
What You’ll Do: share and refine your project, exchange ideas and resources, build meaningful connections.
Designed for writers nearing completion or with a finished draft, this session provides clear next steps for your manuscript and fosters an ongoing writing community. Prior workshop experience is recommended.
NOTE: All participants will submit the first two pages of their novel to the instructor in advance.
Thanks to the excellent literary citizenship of our donors, scholarships are available for all GrubStreet classes. To apply, click the gray "APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP" button. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your application at least one week before the start date of a class. Please await our scholarship committee's decision before registering for the class. We cannot hold spots in classes, so the sooner you apply, the better. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively.

This class will take place in-person at our Center for Creative Writing in Boston's Seaport neighborhood.

Our space is ADA accessible with automatic door openers, ADA-compliant restrooms, desk and table spacing, braille signage, and elevator. Our classrooms can be equipped with ALS for hard of hearing individuals. We cannot guarantee a scent-free environment.
