Class Description

Want to be a writer and get connected to other writers in Rhode Island? Want to learn about where to take writing classes? Eager to educate yourself about literary journals, publishing opportunities, reading series and writers organizations? Come to this free round table and meet-and-greet moderated by Ethan Gilsdorf from GrubStreet, featuring representatives from literary and writing organizations across the state featuring representatives from literary and writing organizations across the state including Frequency Writers, What Cheer Writers Club, Reading with Robin, Point Street Reading Series, Goat Hill Writers, HiFi Collaborative, Rhode Island Center for the Book, Association of Rhode Island Authors, Ocean State Review, The Poetry Loft , LiteraryArts RI , and others. Panelists will begin by telling you about their offerings and services and how to get involved. Then, you can ask questions about being a writer, taking a class, and the writer's and literary life in our small state with a thriving literary scene. We’ll end with a wine and cheese reception where you can chat with the panelists more informally and network and schmooze with fellow writers.
