Class Description

The City of Boston's Elderly Commission and GrubStreet. invites you to Imagine Such a Life with Memoirs from Senior Citizens in Allston-Brighton, Roslindale, the South End, and West Roxbury.

Join us on Tuesday, March 25 from 1pm-3pm to celebrate the publication of the Memoir Project's newest volume, Imagine Such A Life, at the Boston University School of Communication (640 Commonwealth Avenue, 2nd Floor, Room 209). Speakers will include: Martin J. Walsh (Mayor of Boston), Christopher Castellani (GrubStreet’s Artistic Director), and Donald Loring Brown (Memoirist). A reception and book signing with the authors will follow.

Scholarships Format/Location

Thanks to the excellent literary citizenship of our donors, scholarships are available for all GrubStreet classes. To apply, click the gray "APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP" button. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your application at least one week before the start date of a class. Please await our scholarship committee's decision before registering for the class. We cannot hold spots in classes, so the sooner you apply, the better. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively.
