Class Description
Do you have a great story to tell? Join Gina James, producer of the Moth's Boston Story Slam, and Moth host Steve Almond for a class that will help you develop a story and learn how to tell it in front of a live audience. In week one, Gina will help you choose and structure a story from your own life. In week two, you'll tell your story in class, and Steve will critique your performance and help you refine it so it's ready for prime time at a Moth Story Slam.
Note: Registration for this class includes both Wednesday, October 9th, and Wednesday, October 16th, from 6:00-9:00pm.
Thanks to the excellent literary citizenship of our donors, scholarships are available for all GrubStreet classes. To apply, click the gray "APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP" button. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your application at least one week before the start date of a class. Please await our scholarship committee's decision before registering for the class. We cannot hold spots in classes, so the sooner you apply, the better. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively.
