About Rachel
Rachel Carter is the author of the So Close to You series with HarperTeen, and her nonfiction writing has appeared in The New Republic, The Faster Times, and Booktrib. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University and teaches fiction at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Champlain College, and Montclair State University, where she recently spent four years as a visiting professor of fiction. After serving as the executive director of the Green Mountain Book Festival for two years, she currently works as the editorial director for Onion River Press.
