Alysia Abbott is the author of Fairyland, A Memoir of My Father (W.W. Norton), named one of the best books of 2013 by the San Francisco Chronicle, Shelf Awareness and GoodReads, and recently optioned by film-maker Sofia Coppola. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Vogue, Real Simple, Slate, Psychology Today, and TheAtlantic.com, among other publications.
