About Hanna

Hanna Halperin is the author of the novels Something Wild (Viking, 2021) and I Could Live Here Forever (Viking, 2023). Something Wild won the 2021 Edward Lewis Wallant Award and was a finalist for the 2021 National Jewish Book Award for Debut Fiction. She is a graduate of the MFA program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her stories have been published in The Kenyon Review, n+1, New Ohio Review, Joyland, and others. She works as a domestic violence counselor.
