Novel Revision Series: Finding Your Literary Voice
75.00
Most agents and editors will tell you that “voice” is their foremost criterion when it comes to selecting books to represent or publish. But what exactly IS a literary voice, and how does an aspiring novelist go about finding one? In this practical, interactive session, we’ll compare passages from a range of classic and contemporary authors with the goal of locating ourselves on a continuum of literary voices. A series of exploratory writing exercises will help us to discover and refine our own unique, irreplaceable literary voices.
Class Format
This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
