What I'm Looking For
I'm always drawn to character-driven works with vivid settings. In fiction, I prefer contemporary manuscripts with limited timelines/POVs (i.e. I won't automatically discount a multi-timeline or multi-POV work, but it has to be really tight if written that way.) In nonfiction my focus is on any work that meets readers where they're at and offers actionable/accessible information.
