Event Description

Looking for a place to get feedback on your writing? Want to connect with fellow writers and learn from published authors? GrubStreet is here for you!

Join us on Monday, May 5th, from 6:00–6:45 PM for a Virtual Open House where we’ll share everything you need to know about our upcoming classes, Manuscript Month and other events, and membership benefits. You’ll also learn about resources like the Boston Writers of Color network and other community opportunities.

In this webinar-style session, our staff will walk you through our Writing Roadmap, which helps writers at any level find the right class for their goals. At the end, we’ll host a Q&A session to answer general questions. If you have a question that’s specific to your writing journey, we’ll follow up with a personalized email.

Please make sure to pre-register, so we can email you the link to join the meeting. We'll also send all attendees a code to receive 15% off any Summer 2025 class.

Zoom Participation:

In our experience, the intimate nature of a writing workshop benefits from on-camera participation. Students are of course welcome to turn their camera off whenever they need to, but it is a community norm for cameras to be on most of the time. You can learn more about using Zoom here.

Zoom Accessibility:

You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
