Event Description
GrubStreet is once again partnering with UMass Boston MFA Program's Jill McDonough for SUBMITATHON!—an evening of submitting work in any genre, talking about submitting work, thinking about where to publish your work, answering your questions about submitting work, and then submitting more of your own work. Snacks will be provided, and our café will be open and serving drinks downstairs!
Drop in when it’s convenient for you, bring your polished pieces and get ready to make this boring, lonely, secretarial task into a party. No workshopping, no revision, just submitting all your finished pieces so they are all out at magazines you admire. Jill is happy to answer your questions, talk about simultaneous submissions, or share about her own experience.
This class will take place in-person at our Center for Creative Writing in Boston's Seaport neighborhood.
Covid-19 Update:
GrubStreet's space will be mask-optional when Boston's Covid-19 Community Level is low or medium. When the Covid-19 Community Level is high, our space will require masks. Please check GrubStreet's Covid-19 page for the latest info on masking and Community Levels before visiting in person.
