Thinking of applying to the Novel Generator? GrubStreet will host an online Q&A session with instructor Mila Jaroniec on Wednesday, June 26th from 6:30-7:30pm. Mila will answer any questions you have about the Novel Generator, including the workload, the application process, what the program does and doesn’t entail, the schedule, the philosophy behind our approach, and anything else you have on your mind! Please note that the upcoming round of the Novel Generator, which begins in September 2024, will take place virtually on Zoom.
Note: an in-person Novel Generator takes place every Spring at GrubStreet's Center for Creative Writing at Boston's Seaport. Applications for the in-person version of the program open in late summer.
Session Format
This session will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from the instructor with a link to join the meeting!

Zoom Participation:
Students are not required to turn their camera on, but are encouraged to participate any way they feel comfortable through functions such as the live chat, emoji reactions, and unmuting the microphone. Learn more about using Zoom here.
Zoom Accessibility:
We ask that instructors enable closed captioning and send a transcript of the session after class. You can also enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting. If your instructor forgets to send the transcript, just send ’em an email!
