Libby Ward, author of Honest Motherhood, in conversation with Paige Connell

New

Event Description

PSB: Boston Edition is excited to welcome Libby Ward to celebrate the release of her book Honest Motherhood: On Losing My Mind and Finding MyselfPaige Connell will join Ward in conversation.

In Honest Motherhood, Libby takes us on a journey of unlearning the myth of the ideal mother. She candidly shares the experiences many mothers have but few feel safe enough to say out loud—the lack of support, the mental load, the invisibility, the cycles they’re breaking, and the longing to matter again. By untangling her social conditioning from her childhood trauma, Libby lets go of guilt, serves the chicken nuggets, and discovers that prioritizing herself isn’t selfish—it’s a necessity.

Equal parts memoir and manifesto, flush with refreshing takeaways, Honest Motherhood is a rallying cry for moms to let go of perfection, choose themselves, and give their kids what they need most—a mother who is present and whole.
