Event Description
Thinking of applying to the Novel Generator? GrubStreet will host an online Q&A session with instructor Katherine Yeh on Wednesday, June 26th from 6:30-7:30pm. Katherine will answer any questions you have about the Novel Generator, including the workload, the application process, what the program does and doesn’t entail, the schedule, the philosophy behind our approach, and anything else you have on your mind! Please note that the upcoming round of the Novel Generator, which begins in September 2024, will take place virtually on Zoom.
Note: an in-person Novel Generator takes place every Spring at GrubStreet's Center for Creative Writing at Boston's Seaport. Applications for the in-person version of the program open in late summer.

Zoom Participation:
In our experience, the intimate nature of a writing workshop benefits from on-camera participation. Students are of course welcome to turn their camera off whenever they need to, but it is a community norm for cameras to be on most of the time. You can learn more about using Zoom here.
Zoom Accessibility:
You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
