Bio: Monica Benevides (née Busch) is an award-winning writer and editor based in Massachusetts. She founded and edits the literary magazine Talk Vomit and teaches undergraduate writing courses. Previously, she was a senior staff writer at the Worcester Business Journal. Her freelance work appears in places like Bitch, Man Repeller, and the Columbia Journalism Review. She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University.
