Introducing a new GrubStreet instructor, Martine Bellen, who has been a quiet force in poetry for over two decades. She is the author of ten books, including An Anatomy of Curiosity (Madhat Press), This Amazing Cage of Light: New and Selected Poems (Spuyten Duyvil Press), The Vulnerability of Order (Copper Canyon Press), and Tales of Murasaki and Other Poems (Sun & Moon Press), which won the National Poetry Series Award.

She has also penned a novella, written a libretto for an opera, and her poems have appeared in numerous anthologies. We are so excited to welcome this multifaceted writer to GrubStreet to lead two classes this fall:
