Fall Reader's Room Classes
This fall, you don't have to read alone. Join a six-week reading group where we approach beloved books as works of art, combining the camaraderie of a book club with the rigor of a literature seminar. The Reader's Room welcomes anyone who loves books, whether or not they identify as a writer. Together, we'll discuss each book through the lenses of content, context, and craft. All that's required between sessions is to read.
Discover how reading closely in community can deepen your appreciation of storytelling and the choices writers make on the page:
- Readers Room: Borges for the Bewildered with Javier Sinay, starting 9/10
- Readers Room: Most Celebrated Short Stories of 2025 with Kayleigh Shoen, starting 10/5
- Readers Room: Women Writing Against Erasure with Vasvi Kejriwal, starting 10/15
