GrubStreet is thrilled to congratulate Grace Massey! Her chapbook, A Future with Bromeliads, has been published by River Glass Books. She workshopped the poems for this book in the Advanced Poetry Workshop with instructors Carolyn Zaikowski and Tatiana Johnson-Boria.

We asked Grace how her time at GrubStreet and in the Advanced Workshop class influenced her accomplishment:

"Both Advanced Poetry Workshops I’ve taken were immensely valuable, with inspiring teachers who offered insight and encouragement every step of the way. The poems I wrote for these classes were almost all eventually published, and several appear in my chapbook, published this past March. I’m still in touch with some of my classmates, who have become friends and workshopping buddies, as well as providing much appreciated networking opportunities. The classes were a lot of work, but definitely worth it!"
