Dept. of Congrats Spotlight: Alexandra Grabbe
GrubStreet is thrilled to congratulate student and community member Alexandra Grabbe!
Alexandra Grabbe recently published a collection of short stories titled The Nansen Factor last month. She thanks Chip Cheek, KL Pereira, Courtney Sender, Dariel Suarez, and fellow classmates from her "Master Short Fiction" class. Alexandra is also happy to announce her upcoming book launch event happening at Belmont Books on June 18th at 7pm ET. Please join Alexandra – in conversation with Michelle Hoover – in celebrating The Nansen Factor: Refugee Stories, her debut short story collection, written over a period of almost 20 years!
We asked Alexandra how her time at GrubStreet influenced her accomplishment:
“GrubStreet made such a difference in my life! I learned to write short stories, gained confidence in my writing, and joined a marvelous community of talented writers.”
