Short Story Revision and Submission Intensive

Class Description

Have a half-done draft of a story sitting in your drawer that you'd love to finish? Feeling like you could really use a community of writers to hold you to deadlines and motivate you to produce a new story? This four-day short story intensive will be just the motivator you need to end your summer on a productive note.

Over the course of four days, writers in this class will have the option of completing a story-in-progress, revising one, or some combination—writer's choice. By Tuesday, every writer will submit that story for workshop. Wednesday will be a whole class workshop, and Thursday we'll work together to start the revision process and make a submission plan. This class will be a butt-kicker, but every student will leave with an exciting draft, some extensive feedback, and a plan and strategies to submit!
