Class Description
This workshop is for advanced poets who are ready to engage in more rigorous examination and revision of their own poetry. Each member of the group will develop and polish ten poems for an ongoing manuscript or for magazine publication. We will also discuss the journal submission process and host a discussion with an accomplished poet on how to conceive and craft a manuscript. Poets studied may include:

- Louise Gluck
- Ishion Hutchinson
- Wislawa Szymborska
- Natalie Diaz
- George Oppen
- Claudia Rankine
- Luljeta Lleshanaku
This class is by submission only and previous workshop experience is essential. Space is limited to nine poets.

The application deadline for this class is September 1st at 11:59pm. Applicants can expect to learn of decisions via email 1-2 weeks after the deadline.
