Class Description
Are you writing a memoir and need weekly feedback to help you polish your work? This six-week online memoir workshop is open to intermediate and advanced memoirists as well as writers who have taken Memoir Builder I. The main goal of the course is to workshop and revise memoir material. Each week, you’ll read model memoir chapters for inspiration, workshop your own memoir excerpts, and engage in craft talks about refining your work. Students can expect to leave the class with six workshopped memoir scenes.
*Note that while our handy dandy "Schedule" tab states a 6-7pm class time, there are actually no live meetings for this class! Assignments will be given on a weekly basis. Students will have access to the online class portal starting at 5pm, November 1st. Instructions for logging onto the online portal will be emailed to registered students before 5pm the first day of class.
