Class Description
You've gotten to "The End." But something isn't quite clicking.
This 3-hour seminar, will cover a number of revision strategies for short fiction and novels. We'll discuss techniques for polishing your work at the sentence or paragraph level. We'll also talk about how to identify larger-scale problems with POV, tension, plot and more. We'll explore radical strategies for restructuring and reworking your pages to highlight what's really important about the story you're telling. Students should come to class with a finished short story or a scene from a novel to share and practice on.
