Class Description

You've heard about Scrivener, the program that helps writers get organized. Maybe you've even downloaded the free trial and poked around before getting overwhelmed by all the bells and whistles. Or, you're already using it, but have no idea which tools are best for your project. This class is for you!

Whether you're just starting out on a book-length work or you're deep into your twentieth revision, Scrivener can help you organize your thoughts, improve your writing process, and finish your manuscript. In this seminar you will learn the basics of Scrivener and how to customize them for your specific process and writing project. We'll discuss each other's projects and explore what features of Scrivener are best suited to them, and look at tips and tricks for using those tools to their fullest potential. You will leave with a fuller understanding of what tools are best for your project and a get the most out of your writing.

Students should bring a laptop and download a free trial of Scrivener before class. Best of all, students in this class will also receive a 20% discount on Scrivener software at the end of class!
