Class Description
This session will be offered in: English, Español, 國語
No need to register, though it's nice to know if you're coming. Just come to BPL Chinatown on October 22 and/or November 19, 2024, between 4 PM - 5:30 PM. Keep in mind that registration doesn't guarantee you a spot because it's first come, first served. However, it does allow us to notify you in the event of a location/time change.
These office hours are open to anyone who wants to ask an instructor a question about a creative writing project, resources, opportunities, upcoming classes, and tips. Just come and sign up for a 20-minute max time block. Again, office hours time blocks are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis, even if you've registered.
Feel free to bring 1 page of your work with you to the Office Hours for a light review/discussion. Or, these sessions can be used simply to chat about your writing goals or questions. Whatever works for you. At this time, we aren't able to read and respond to more than 3 pages of writing or read manuscripts outside of Office Hours.
Thanks to the excellent literary citizenship of our donors, scholarships are available for all GrubStreet classes. To apply, click the gray "APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP" button. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete your application at least one week before the start date of a class. Please await our scholarship committee's decision before registering for the class. We cannot hold spots in classes, so the sooner you apply, the better. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively.
