About Lynne
Lynne Barrett is the author of the story collections Magpies (Gold Medal, Fiction, Florida Book Awards), The Secret Names of Women, and The Land of Go (all, Carnegie Mellon University Press). She edited Tigertail: Florida Flash and co-edited Birth: A Literary Companion. Her stories can be found in Fifteen Views of Miami, Trouble in the Heartland: Crime Stories Inspired by the Songs of Bruce Springsteen, Fort Lauderdale Magazine, Wraparound South, Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, Delta Blues, and One Year to a Writing Life. A recipient of the Edgar Award for best mystery story and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, she teaches in the MFA program at Florida International University and is editor of The Florida Book Review.
