About Kerri
As Writing Programs Senior Manager, Kerri (she/her) oversees GrubStreet’s teen program; Boston Public Library partnership program; and scholarship program. She has worked in education for more than 20 years. Most recently, she served as the founder and executive director of a Boston-based arts education nonprofit, delivering free programming to more than 7,000 middle and high school students over the course of a decade. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Kerri was a visiting assistant professor of English Literature at Bates College and Connecticut College, and a lecturer in writing at Tufts University. Kerri holds a B.A. in English from Bowdoin College and a Ph.D. in English Literature from Tufts University, where she received awards for Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education and Outstanding Academic Scholarship. Her writing has appeared in Comitatus, Humana Obscura, and Unbroken. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, fussing over her yellow lab, and consuming an unreasonable amount of contemporary poetry.
