About Ruby
Ruby Yassen (she/her/hers) is an Operations Assistant at GrubStreet. She holds a BA in English from UCLA. She has a background in editorial work, and worked as the Executive Fiction Editor and Executive Creative Nonfiction Editor for Westwind Journal of the Arts. She also has worked in education, as an English Peer Learning Facilitator for UCLA's Academic Advancement Program. She is also passionate about cooking, food media, and runs a fruit review account on the side. She also loves to crochet and spend time outside.
