About Hunter

Hunter Liguore (she/her) is an award-winning author of Whole World Inside Nan’s Soup (Paterson Prize for Books for Young Readers; Every Child a Reader Honor Book). She's studied with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, John Hume (North Ireland), whose First Principle of Peace, “respect for differences,” is foundational to her writing. She's undertaken research in peace and social justice studies, which has led to the publication of Modern Art of War: Sun Tzu’s Hidden Path to Peace and Wholeness, with translations forthcoming in Arabic, Brazilian-Portuguese, French, and German, and audio featuring award-winning actress, Kate Handford. A regular contributor to Writer's Digest and Spirituality & Health Magazine, she teaches historical fiction at Lesley University. hunterliguore.org
