About Dzidzor

Dzidzor's life mission is to create space for people to tell their stories. Dzidzor facilitates empowerment- creative workshops in schools, organizations, galleries/coffee shops and holds a monthly Jam Session called Black Cotton Club for artists. Dzidzor is a Ghanaian folklore-performing artist and the author of "For Girls Who Cry in Yellow". She loves hugs and the feeling of grass on her bare feet. Dzidzor finds power in creating spaces that push people to tell their stories. Dzidzor is interested in the ways that sound can spark a memory and provide a sense of healing and care within communities.
