Chris Bucci represents bestselling and award-winning fiction and non-fiction authors including Bath Haus by PJ Vernon; The Certainty Illusion by Timothy Caulfield; The Unbecoming of Margaret Wolf by Isa Arsen: and Real Bad Things by Kelly J Ford.
Chris began his career at the University of Toronto Press as an acquisitions editor in the social sciences. After time at both HarperCollins Canada and McClelland & Stewart, he became a literary agent in 2008 when he joined The McDermid Agency. By 2017 Chris was Proprietor and Literary Agent at CookeMcDermid before coming to Aevitas in 2020.
Chris represents a broad range of both fiction and non-fiction as an Aevitas agent based in the NY Metropolitan area. He aims to work with some of the culture’s best writers, thinkers, and experts—authors whose work helps us to interpret and understand our times as well as our future.

- Thursday, May 15: 10:00–1:00 & 1:00–4:00 & 4:00–7:00
- Friday, May 16: 10:00–1:00 & 1:00–4:00
- Saturday, May 17: 10:00–1:00 & 1:00–4.00
Zoom Meetings with Chris will be scheduled within these time periods (all EDT), but are subject to change. If Chris must make a change to this schedule, we will arrange a mutually agreeable Zoom time outside of Manuscript Mart Week.
