Event Description

Love to write but don't have anywhere to get feedback on your work? Want to meet fellow writers and work under the guidance of published authors? GrubStreet is here to help!

On Monday, January 13th, from 12:00pm-1:00pm, we will be hosting a lunch-hour online Open House to talk about upcoming classes, GrubStreet memberships, our Boston Writers of Color Group, and more!

In this panel, staff members will give you an overview of GrubStreet, who we are, and we'll dive into everything coming up at GrubStreet soon. At the end, there will be time set aside for a Q+A.

We'll answer any questions that we feel would apply to lots of attendees in the session, and for any questions that are specific to you and your writing, we'll send a personalized email back to you!

Please make sure to pre-register. We'll also send all attendees a code to receive 15% off any Winter 2025 class.

This event will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. Please join this Zoom link: https://grubstreet-org.zoom.us...

Zoom Participation:

In our experience, the intimate nature of a writing workshop benefits from on-camera participation. Students are of course welcome to turn their camera off whenever they need to, but it is a community norm for cameras to be on most of the time. You can learn more about using Zoom here.

Zoom Accessibility:

You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
