Event Description

Thinking of applying to the Essay Incubator? GrubStreet will host Q&A session with instructor Ethan Gilsdorf on Wednesday, June 26th from 6:30-7:30pm EST. Ethan will answer any questions you have about the Essay Incubator, including the workload, the application process, what the program does and doesn’t entail, the schedule, the philosophy behind our approach, assessing if you’re a good fit for the program, and anything else you have on your mind! Please note that the upcoming round of the Essay Incubator, which begins in September 2024, will take place in person at our Seaport headquarters.

Session Format

This session will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from the instructor with a link to join the meeting!

Zoom Participation:

Students are not required to turn their camera on, but are encouraged to participate any way they feel comfortable through functions such as the live chat, emoji reactions, and unmuting the microphone. Learn more about using Zoom here.

Zoom Accessibility:

We ask that instructors enable closed captioning and send a transcript of the session after class. You can also enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting. If your instructor forgets to send the transcript, just send ’em an email!
