Event Description

Join the Boston Writers of Color for our writers meetup! We welcome novelists, screenwriters, poets, essayists, bloggers, and even those who are new to writing. Meet new friends, relax and unwind with a drink, snacks and some writerly conversation! The event will be hosted by BWOC member and writer Andrew Zubiri.

All attendees will receive a complimentary beverage and snacks from Maruichi Select.

Andrew Zubiri is a Filipino writer whose work has appeared in AGNI, The Threepenny Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Ninth Letter, and elsewhere. A former global development professional, he now works as a university staff, and currently resides in Boston. His writing explores place, identity, and the tension between home and diaspora.
