Event Description
As 2025 gets going, how do we plan and sustain our writing goals for the year? This seminar will focus on how to properly develop and keep your writing projects alive. For the first part of class, Grub instructor and BWOC member Shalene Gupta will share tips and strategies on how to build a sustainable writing practice, how to establish and follow through with realistic writing and submission goals, and how to manage those periods when prioritizing your projects becomes difficult. For the last part, attendees will have time to work on generating and sharing their own writing/submission goals for 2025. This session will be held remotely on Zoom.

Zoom Participation:
In our experience, the intimate nature of a writing workshop benefits from on-camera participation. Students are of course welcome to turn their camera off whenever they need to, but it is a community norm for cameras to be on most of the time. You can learn more about using Zoom here.
Zoom Accessibility:
You can enable closed captioning at any time during the meeting by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the screen. If you'd like to access the transcript after class, please make sure to let your instructor ahead of time that you'd like a copy.
