Need some structure away from the daily grind to write? Do you crave writing in a space that's safe and encouraging? Or do you just want to be in fellowship with other Asian and Asian-American writers? Bring your halo-halo, boba, matcha or kalamansi juice and join the instructor-led Halo-Halo Cafe: a virtual space specifically dedicated to Asian-identified writers! In this relaxed environment, we'll meet for 90 minutes once a week on Zoom to write, connect, get support, and share snippets of our work, all while the instructor plays focus-friendly music. This is a facilitated group meeting without readings, that will begin with a check-in and end with a check-out.
*Halo-Halo is a popular Filipino dessert that literally means "mix-mix" in Tagalog.  All genres, including mixed genres, welcomed!

Class Format

This class will take place using Zoom videoconferencing. About 15 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin, you'll receive an email from your instructor with a link to join the class meeting!
