In a Nutshell
With our partners Porter Square Books: Boston Edition, the Writers' Stage hosts author events that bring together writers from a wide range of backgrounds and genres, giving you a chance to discover new voices, engage with your favorite authors, learn about important cultural issues, and get insights into the writing process. Once a month, join us for our Grubbie Debut Author Series, a celebratory reading and conversation series that goes behind the scenes with members of the GrubStreet community to launch their debut books.

Porter Square Books: Boston Edition and GrubStreet invite you to peer through the lens of memory and discuss creative writing with #1 New York Times bestselling author, Ruta Sepetys. Sepetys will present her new book on writing, You: The Story: A Writer's Guide to Craft Through Memory, and also discuss her approach to her novels.
